They have impressive mapping and obstacles-avoiding capabilities, and some wash and refill their own mopping pads to give themselves a hands-off clean.
The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot vacuum that also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other options and makes it easier to maneuver in tight spaces or under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.
It is very efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one pass. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to clean dirt, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the double side brush assists in removing debris from corners.
The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as effective. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into tight corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can be used to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.
Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. However should you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping you must pay attention to this.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.
The device is equipped with a powerful cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This allows it to map out your home and also find furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean effectively and intelligently. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning and is also quick.
In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can be used to reach an array of surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other hard to reach areas. They also come with a stretchy side brush that can be extended to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads are able to be cleaned and dried to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce the odors.
Another feature worth mentioning is the app-based customization options. The Q Revo allows you to alter the strength of suction, and choose between a back-andforth or more random pattern. You can also adjust the number of passes it must make, which will affect how quickly the device can move through your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.
This device is expensive however it has many useful features. However, robot vacuum cleaners to remember that it carries recurring costs, such as mopping equipment and maintenance. For example the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter will need to be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad should be replaced every one to three months.
The robot vacuum that mops has a high rating on Amazon and includes a broad array of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a 'Home button that allows it to go back home after cleaning. It also has a multi-functional dock that automatically empties the dustbin, refills its water tank to mop and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is an all-in-one mop and vacuum. It can do both vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot is divided into two modules, a dry bin and water tank that can be easily snapped in and out and a mopping module that has an elastomer pad. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping, but it does mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.
Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature was its accurate map of your floorplan, which it uses to create a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting "No-Go zones" and virtual barriers that help to keep certain areas of your house from being swept with a mop.
We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair of pets. It was able to capture a lot of the hair our cats shed, and even made it into the nooks and crannies on our stairs, where other robots have struggled. It was relatively quiet and had some lovely jingles to signalled when it was beginning or finishing its work.
The app was too basic and you had to switch the modules every time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app is not able to keep multiple maps. This can be a problem if your home has multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for an intelligent robot that can do both vacuuming and mopping.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it does have distinct features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is notable for its huge dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.
The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to switch on a child lock which is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets entangled in an obstacle, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you manually untangle it. While this was rare however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen and especially because the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its application.
The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxes.
